The best direction is North, North-East, East and West. Acceptable, with a minor defect: South-West and North-West. Treated as a major defect, so best avoided: South-East, South and Centre.

Is a study in the South-East bad?

In Vastu, yes. This zone can make focus harder. East, North or North-East are better. It is treated as a major defect. The remedies above can ease it, and many need no demolition.

Can I fix a study Vastu defect without breaking walls?
